This order consisted of some wonderful bites. There is an assorted cookie platter with dark chocolate and black cherry cookies, lemon lavender iced shortbread cookies and Vienna cookies dipped in chocolate. There were also tea sandwiches of cucumber chive and uncured ham and Swiss with local whole grain mustard. And last but not least an assortment of savory palmers, sundried tomato pesto and basil pesto and even a few ham and cheese ones. It was all very deliciously simple and tasty.

Party by the Water
It's been awhile since I blogged, it seems life and work get away with me which in my case is great as the business is starting to take off. Thank you to all my supporters!
Today I wanted to take a moment to post a little event we did this weekend by the water. It was an event for 25 people with passed appetizers of Ginger Chicken Cakes with a Cilantro, Lime Aioli and Corn Cakes with Mango Salsa, and then we platted a Butter leaf, Avocado, Cucumber, Goat Cheese Salad with a Rosemary Mustard Vinaigrette served with Caramelized Onion Fontina Cheese Bread. This was followed by a family style dinner included Grilled Flank Steak and Chicken with Ginger Lime Carrots and Roasted Potatoes with Feta, Bacon and Caramelized Onions and we finished off with a yummy platted Mango Lime Chili Sorbet with Grilled Pineapple topped with Candied Ginger.
I found I didn't have the time to take many pictures but I managed a few. It was a wonderful event. Let me know if you need a personal chef to help you with your next party!

Holiday Foods
The holidays have come and gone and I cooked plenty of food. It seems I had no time to blog during all the craziness but I did manage to take pictures of a few of the favorites.
Here you will see fresh pasta made with my new cusinart, a gift from my man.
I had a request for a simple veggie platter with hummus and dill yogurt dips at a party we attended.
For New Years we invited to a gathering and I was in charge of apps. So I brought a yummy horseradish cheese dip with whole grain crackers, Asian beef cups (they were a hit), and chicken bits with a wonderful peanut curry dipping sauce.
I also tried a new lemon fairy cake with lavender and lemon glaze. These were a treat for some friends that came by.
What a great holiday we had and I hope you did also!

A Party in Helle!
My very good friend Danielle through a customer appreciation bash to introduce her new partners in crime; AKA ~ Amy and myself… We are putting together some great ideas for “Helle on Wheels”. You can now, not only get facials and waxing but reflexology, message and catering for your next girl’s night out. Rent Helle (In Georgetown) for the evening or we can come to your home and convert your living room into a sanctuary.
Last night we had a fabulous gathering of friends and yummy foods including White Bean and Sage Crostini, Carrot and Yam Latkes, Ricotta & Sage Crepe Bites, Camelized Onion Tartlets and Chocolate Truffle Cakes. The food was great and everyone had a blast!
